Works and lives
Paris, France
After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Antoine Conde completed his studies at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, graduating in 2024. Growing up in Corbeil-Essonnes, he turned to literature, drawing and film at an early age, which for him represented an immediate escape from his environment. When he moved to Paris, he began to produce a more substantial body of work, always keeping a tender eye on the places and events that shaped him. His work is articulated between drawings and installations, and he draws his inspiration from books and other stories. His work has been exhibited at FRAC Corsica in the group show “Is Something Missing”, alongside artists such as Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Anne Bourse, Annette Messager, Mimosa Echard, Ladji Diaby and others. And recently, in Paris, Antoine Conde took part in several group shows at “3537”, “Mai 68 - Assemblée Générale” at the Centre Pompidou and at the Cité des Arts for Paris Photo. In 2024, he was part of the group show “Autohistorias” curated by Skye Thomas, Tadeo Kohan and Louise Delalambellerie at the Théâtre des Expositions des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
