In this month of drawing in Paris, DS Galerie is delighted to present “YOU LEFT A MARK ON MY SCREEN”, the first solo exhibition by artist Antoine Conde (1997, France). The exhibition presents a collection of previously unseen drawings on paper, some of them large-format, in which we find the artist’s characteristic sense of composition in images taken from pop culture, documentaries and erotic and pornographic gay magazines. The exhibition will be accompanied by a text written by Matthieu Jacquet. The opening, in the presence of the artist, will take place on Thursday 27.03.2025 from 5pm to 8pm.
After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Antoine Conde completed his studies at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, graduating in 2024. Growing up in Corbeil-Essonnes, he turned to literature, drawing and film at an early age, which for him represented an immediate escape from his environment. When he moved to Paris, he began to produce a more substantial body of work, always keeping a tender eye on the places and events that shaped him. His work is articulated between drawings and installations, and he draws his inspiration from books and other stories. More info
