“Strange silhouettes, imperfect gestures, objects slipping away from reality explore an aesthetics of deviation. Inspired by the ambivalent history of the freak show — not as spectacular curiosity but as a space of emancipation — the exhibition gathers artists who question the margins, whether morphological, social, or emotional. Their works summon unstable creatures, off-balance presences, recomposed bodies: a theatre of apparitions where deviant, fragile, or simply untamed identities assert themselves.
In a world constantly trying to smooth itself out, this exhibition opens a breach for the curious, the misshapen, the almost-magical.
