For these summer reunions, DS Galerie inaugurates the Aparté format with a selection of works by Louis Jacquot, Oscar Lefebvre, Raphaël-Bachir Osman, David Weishaar, and Xolo Cuintle, presented in the gallery’s signature space, Le salon.
Conceived as a space of intimacy and resonance, Le salon here hosts a constellation of presences that intersect, respond to one another, and come together. Without seeking to constitute an exhibition in the strict sense, “Retrouvailles” proposes a moment of convergence—between works, gestures, and sensibilities—like fragments reunited after a period of dispersion.
The works compose a scene in which forms and materials engage in a free dialogue, revealing unexpected echoes, subtle tensions, and underlying affinities.
“Retrouvailles” thus inaugurates a series of Apartés: occasional propositions conceived as more confidential addresses, where the gaze shifts, lingers, and allows itself to be surprised—echoing the gallery’s main program while opening up a different relationship to the works.
